Abstract

Objective: To describe the disease model at Cam Khe Regional Medical Center in the period 2020-2024. Subjects and methods: Retrospective cross-sectional study. Data were collected on the HIS system of Cam Khe Regional Medical Center from 2020-2024. Results: In outpatients, Chapter IX (Circulatory diseases) had the highest rate at 23.08%; Chapter IV (Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases) ranked second with 17.26%. In 10 common outpatient disease codes: the highest is I10 (Idiopathic hypertension) with 40.67%, E11: Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus ranked second with 28.91%. In inpatients, Chapter X (Respiratory system diseases) had the highest rate with 19.95%; Chapter XV (Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum) ranked second with 13.75%. In 10 inpatient disease codes, disease code J15 (Bacterial pneumonia not classified elsewhere) had the highest rate with 33.74%; O82 (Caesarean section for single fetus) ranked second with 21.13%. O80 (Vaginal delivery of single fetus) ranked third with 9.29%. Conclusion: Non-communicable diseases accounted for a high rate and tended to increase in outpatients. Respiratory diseases tend to increase, and pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum diseases tend to decrease in inpatients.
