Abstract

Objective: To describe nasal morphology and anthropometric parameters in patients indicated for rhinoplasty. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on patients with indications for rhinoplasty at Duc Giang hospital from March to September 2025. Nasal morphological characteristics and anthropometric parameters were collected and analyzed, including nasal indices measured on standard anatomical planes as well as characteristic angles and distances. Results: Patients indicated for rhinoplasty exhibited diverse nasal morphologies and anthropometric characteristics. Preoperative nasal anthropometric parameters showed clear variations among different nasal morphology groups, reflecting the anatomical features of the adult Vietnamese nose. Conclusion: Describing nasal morphology and anthropometric parameters in patients indicated for rhinoplasty provides an important scientific basis for preoperative assessment, contributing to surgical planning and appropriate selection of rhinoplasty techniques
