Abstract

A descriptive cross-section in order to determine dental caries status is conducted on 770 first-year students at Ha Noi Medical University. The results showed that: The total rate of dental caries was 84,55%, of which early dental caries rate was 62,48%. DMFT index: 5,09 (D=4,72; M= 0,04; F=0,03). The rate of dental caries and DMFT index were high according to WHO classification.
