Subjects and methods: From January to December 2025, a cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 48 endometriosis patients who were diagnosed and treated.

According to location, ovarian endometriosis accounted for 45.8%, uterine myocardium 25.0%, abdominal wall endometriosis 16.7%, and perineum endometriosis 10.4%. Cystic lesions were found on ultrasound in 45.8% of cases. In terms of treatment, medicinal treatment was the most popular, with Dienogest accounting for 91.6%; surgical and combination treatments accounted for a small fraction. The efficiency in relieving pain symptoms was 91.7%, while the rate of early recurrence within 6 months was 2.1%.
Conclusion: Endometriosis in Nam Dinh manifests in a variety of lesion locations, including extrauterine areas such as the abdominal wall and perineum. Medical treatment with hormonal medications is now the most effective alternative for patients, offering significant relief from pain sensations.
