OVARIAN TORSION IN A PREGNANCY AT 35 WEEKS: A CASE - REPORT

Abstract
Ovarian torsion is a gynecological emergency requiring surgery. Ovarian torsion during pregnancy is rare, difficult to diagnose, and presents significant surgical challenges. Most cases of ovarian torsion occur in the first and second trimesters; however, some authors have reported cases of ovarian torsion and adnexal torsion in the third trimester. This paper presents a rare case of ovarian torsion in a 35-week pregnant woman, as well as the management and pregnancy outcome.
