Abstract

Objective: To evaluate functional rehabilitation outcomes following single-bundle anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using the all-inside arthroscopic technique at Vinmec Times City International Hospital. Methods: A prospective, non-controlled clinical intervention study was conducted on 55 patients (87.3% male, 12.7% female) who underwent single-bundle ACL reconstruction using the all-inside technique with hamstring tendon autografts. Patients were assessed at 1, 3, and 6 months postoperatively using the Lysholm score, subjective IKDC score, and objective clinical indices. Results: The mean age was 34.4 ± 9.8 years; sports-related injuries accounted for 60.0% of cases. The mean Lysholm score improved from 61.3 ± 7.6 at 1 month to 82.9 ± 7.5 at 3 months and 94.7 ± 6.8 at 6 months; the subjective IKDC score increased correspondingly from 61.1 ± 8.1 to 94.5 ± 7.2 (p < 0.001). At 6 months, 94.5% of patients achieved Excellent or Good outcomes. Male sex was the only factor significantly associated with better rehabilitation outcomes (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Single-bundle ACL reconstruction using the all-inside arthroscopic technique combined with an early structured rehabilitation program yields excellent functional outcomes, with 94.5% of patients achieving Excellent or Good results at 6 months postoperatively.
