EVALUATION OF INTERNAL QUALITY CONTROL RESULTS OF FIVE PARAMETERS IN COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT AT THE DEPARTMENT OF HEMATOLOGY AND BLOOD TRANSFUSION, SOC TRANG GENERAL HOSPITAL
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the precision, accuracy, and analytical errors of five CBC parameters (RBC, HGB, HCT, WBC, PLT) using internal quality control data at the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Soc Trang General Hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional study on 3,285 IQC results collected from October to December 2025 using DxH 800 and XN-1000 analyzers. CV%, Bias%, and Westgard rules were analyzed. Results: The proportion of results with allowable CV was 100% for both analyzers. RBC showed the best precision, while PLT had the highest variability. All parameters had Bias within CLIA allowable limits. The Westgard violation rate was 4.59%, limited to the 12s rule, with no systematic errors detected. Conclusion: Both analyzers demonstrated acceptable precision and accuracy, ensuring reliable performance for routine hematology testing.
