DUAL PRIMARY MALIGNANT TUMORS IN A PATIENT: A SUCCESSFUL TREATED CASE AT VIETDUC UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Abstract

Today, as a result of recent advances in diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities, the number of patients diagnosed with multiple primary malignancies has been increasing. In addition, surgery has been an essential oncology modality in the multimodal management of cancer patients. We report a case of a 71-year-old male with multiple primary tumors in two different organs: lung and rectum; that has been operated successfully at VietDuc University Hospital.
