Abstract

Background: Many studies have proven that the advantages of the online medical registration outweigh the disadvantages of traditional registration. The university medical center HCMC began implementing an online medical examination registration system at the end of 2018. The hospital's medical team, on the other hand, is still honing and polishing their expertise in using this technology. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to survey the opinions of medical staff in the implementation of the online outpatient registration system at the Hospital's Outpatient Department. Objectives: Investigating the knowledge and attitudes of medical staff in the implementation of the online medical examination registration system at the UMC's Outpatient Department. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study, quantitative combined qualitative, the study was conducted on 197 medical staff of UMC from January to March 2020. Results: The average score of the factors is from high to very high, specifically: Suitability (4.19/5); Acceptability (4.26/5); Feasibility (4.26/5). Consclusions: According to our research, the majority of staff strongly supports the implementation of the online medical examination registration system for patients.
