Abstract

Caroli’s disease is a rare congenital disease of the liver characterized by cystic dilation of the intrahepatic bile duct. The most common complication of Caroli's disease is stones in the liver. With the presence of stones in the liver can lead to cholestasis, increasing the risk of cholangitis, thereby causing biliary bleeding complications. With clinical manifestations of high gastrointestinal bleeding, severe can cause acute blood loss, the disease can be fatal if not diagnosed and treated promptly. Therefore, the diagnosis and treatment of intrahepatic biliary tract bleeding need to be quick and effective. Conclusion: Hemobilia/ Intrahepatic Stones in Caroli’s disease is uncommon on synchronously or metachronously. Open parenchymal hepatic remove stone, hemostasis, cyst drainage along with kerh drainage are a surgical treatment method with good results.
