Abstract

Double-eyelid blepharoplasty is the most popular plastic surgery in Asia. In order to evaluate the surgical results through the functional, morphological and patient satisfaction criteria, the study evaluated the results of double-eyelid blepharoplasty in adult Vietnamese women at Duc Giang General Hospital and Saint Paul Hospital from April 2017 to October 2021. Most patients achieved natural eyelid folds. In periodic follow-up up to 6 months, the majority of patients were satisfied with the surgery. The most common complication was eyelid edema in the first week. None of the cases lost eyelid folds. After 6 months, the majority of patients with eyelid scars were blurred and hard to see. No serious complications occurred. Double-eyelid blepharoplasty with complete eyelid surgery offered clear, stable and long-term results. This method was suitable for patients with monolid eyes and excess eyelid skin.
