THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN C-PEPTIDE CONCENTRATION AND MICROVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS OF TYPE 2 DIABETES PATIENTS AT HANOI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To determine the relationship between C-peptide concentration and microvascular complications of type 2 diabetes patients at Hanoi Medical University Hospital in 2021. Subjects: 96 patients with type 2 diabetes who came for a health check-up at the Medical Examination Department of Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Methods: Cross sectional description. Results and conclusions: The average fasting C - Peptide concentration was 0.84 ± 0.37 nmol/l. Low C-peptide levels are associated with the occurrence of microalbuminuria and retinal damage in diabetic patients.
