RESULT OF MANAGEMENT OF ANTIBIOTIC PROPHYLAXIS IN SURGERY AT VIETNAMESE-SWIDISH UONGBI HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the results of management of antibiotic prophylaxis in some gastrointestinal diseases. appendectomy, hernia repair and cholecystectomy patients. Subject and method: From April 2021 to september 2021,229 patients having performed appendectomy, hernia repaire and cholecystectomy at Vietnamese-Swidish UongBi Hospital with using antibiotic prophylaxis were enrolled in the prospective study. Result: The general success rate of the method was 95.20%. Thesuccess rate of appendectomy, hernia repaire and cholecystectomywere 94.6%; 100% and 91.0% respectively.The average hospital stay was 3.8 ± 21.3 days. Postoperative complications was 3.1%. Conclusion: Management of antibiotic prophylaxis in appendectomy, hernia repaire and cholecystectomyissafe and effective method.
