Abstract

Objectives: To describe the characteristics of iron deficiency anemia of patients infected with Helicobacter pylori at Hanoi Medical University Hospital in 2021. Subjects: 240 patients were divided into 2 groups, positive and negative for Helicobacter pylori. Methods: Cross sectional description. Results and conclusions: There were a statistically significant association between patients infected with Helicobacter pylori iron deficiency anemia. The main cause is gastritis and the iron competition mechanism of Helicobacter pylori bacteria.
