SOME FACTORS RELATED TO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HEART FAILURE DISEASE IN PATIENT WITH HEART FAILURE AT E HOSPITAL HANOI

Abstract
Objective: To determine some factors related to knowledge about heart failure disease in patient with heart failure at E Hospital Hanoi in 2021. Methods: cross-sectional descriptive study with a convenient sampling method, sample size was 91 patients. Results: Age, education level, occupation were factors that related to the understanding and knowledge of patients with heart failure, this difference had statistical significance with p<0.05. However, gender and place of residence did not relate to the patient's knowledge with p >0.05. Conclusion: This study shows that there were a few factors that related to knowledge of patients with heart failure disease and some that did not related to the knowledge of patients with heart failure disease. Recommendations: To improve the knowledge of patients with heart failure disease, it is necessary to identify some factors which are related to knowledge of patients with heart failure and nurses can change those factors to appropriate the patients. Thanks to this, patients receive the best care and treatment.
