Abstract

Persistent mass appearing after vacuum aspiration on cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) is associated with hemorrhagic complications. This phenomenon is a new problem in clinical practice that needs to be handled. Objectives: To review the results of 3 methods of treating persistent mass and bleeding complication after aspiration for CSP. Methods: this is a cross-sectional study, the patients were selected into 3 treatment groups depending on the characteristics of the persistent mass. Results: 32 patients were treated by re-aspiration or curettage, hysteroscopy and laparotomy to remove the hematoma mass. The overall success result of the 3 methods is 93.75%. Conclusion: The highly effective method is hysteroscopy and understand more, we should be studied on a larger sample size.
