Abstract

Objectives: his study aims to evaluate the results of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) colorectal laterally spreading tumors (LSTs). Method: A total of 42 patients were enrolled with colorectal laterally spreading tumors to perform ESD from 11/2018 to 8/2021 in Bachmai hospital. Results: At our institution, 42 consecutive superficial colorectal tumors larger than 20 mm in diameter in 42 patients were treated by ESD. The rate of complete resection with tumor-free lateral and vertical margins was 83.3%. The rate of perforation was 0%. Conclusion: Colorectal ESD achieved a high rate of en bloc resection and complete resection and is applicable in the colorectum.
