SOME FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE OF PARENTS FOR CHILDREN AGED 5-11 TUBE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19 IN PHUC THO-HA NOI

Abstract
A cross-sectional descriptive study on 2756 people with children aged 5-11, currently living in Phuc Tho- Ha noi from January 18, 2022 to March 8, 2022. The objective of the study was to determine the rate and some factors related to the agreements of parents for children 5-11 years old to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Results: the percentage of parents who agree to give their children the vaccine against COVID-19 is 79,57%. Factors related to the rate of parents' agreement of children vaccinated, research subjects (RS) is male have acceptance rate is 0,66 times lower than female; the age group 41-50 acceptance rate higher group under 30 is 1,42 times; RS with professional intermediate level/college/university and post-graduate education a lower rate than under and high school education of 0,65 and 0,35 times; Children with chronic diseases or history of allergies or underweight children reduce parental acceptance of injections by 0.53, 0,30 and 0,74 times; The proportions of children aged 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 years old who had a parent acceptance rate compared with no child in this age group were 0,49, 0,63, 0,89, 1,03, 0,91, 0,90 and 1,66 times. Conclusion: the results of the study showed that 79,57% RS agree to give their children the vaccine against COVID-19. The factors related to acceptance rate are the parent's age group, gender, education, chronic medical condition, allergy history, child's weight and age group of the child.
