ANALYSIS ON CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENT POSTPARTUM HAEMORRHAGE AND EFFECTIVENESS OF B LYNCH SUTURE AT HANOI OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Postpartum haemorrhage is the leading cause of maternal death worldwide. Objective: Analyse on relating factors of postpartum haemorrhage and the results of B-Lynch suture at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in 2018-2020. Methods: Pregnant women who gave birth naturally or by caesarean section having a B-lynch suture because of postpartum haemorrhage were included. This is a cross-sectional descriptive study, conducted retrospectively in 2018-2020. Results: total number was 78 cases, of which 80.8% were patients with elective cesarean section, 19.2% of patients had pregnancy pathologies. Conclusion: The success rate of preserving the uterus in patients with B lynch suture reached 97.4%, there were no cases of complications after Blynch suture.
