Abstract

Discoid meniscus is a rare congenital anomaly, with an incidence ranging from 1 to 5%, occurring most commonly in the lateral meniscus (0.4 - 17%), in the medial meniscus more rarely (0.06). - 0.3%). Objectives: To evaluate the results of discoid meniscus plasty under knee arthroscopy at Viet Duc hospital. Methods: Retrospective cross-sectional description of 30 patients, aged from 9 to 56 years, who underwent knee arthroscopic discectomy for discoid meniscus plasty. The result evaluation according to the Lysholm scale. The mean follow-up time was 22.2 months. Results: 98% of patients achieved good and very good results, 2% of patients achieved average results, there were no patients with poor results. There were no cases of complications.
