ANALYSIS OF DRUG LIST USED IN PHONG DIEN DISTRICT HEALTH CENTER IN THE YEAR 2019

Abstract

Objective: The main objective of this study is to analyze the structure of the list of antibiotics used at Phong Dien health center in 2019 according to the ABC/VEN analysis method. Methods: We have done a retrospective study, analyzing the list of medicines used in 2019 from January 2019 to December 2019 at Phong Dien district health center. Data were collected from the surveyor, cleaned, standardized, coded, entered and processed according to medical statistics mathematic and SPSS 22.0 software. Results: The results obtained are quite appropriate when the rates are not too different in 3 groups of drugs class A, B, C. Grade A includes 188 items (35.88% of the total), Grade B includes 117 items (22.33% of the total), and C includes 219 items (41, 79% of the total item range). The ABC/VEN matrix when analyzing the list of drugs at Phong Dien health center shows that grade E accounts for a high percentage in all 3 categories A, B, C. Group AN is still high in terms of quantity (25 items) and value (1,723,800,000 VND). Conclusion: Contributing to helping the Council of Drug and Treatment to build a more effective drug list, limiting use or being removed from the list Non-essential drug group.
