Methods:The study was conducted on 71 teeth diagnosed with chronic periodontitis stage III grade C, with 2,3 wall intrabony defects. The periodontal defects were recorded with clinical and radiographic features including periodontal pocket depth, periodontal attachment loss, tooth mobility, gingival index and plaque index. After 4 weeks of initial treatment, the periodntal defects were treated with periodontal regeneration surgery using Emdogain. The clinical features of the defects were monitored and evaluated after surgery at 3 and 12 months. Results and conclusion: Using Emdogain for periodontal regeneration surgery showed good results, achieving treatment goals such as reducing pocket depth, restoring attachment and improving periodontal indices.
