PREVENTIVE FACTORS FOR HYPERTENSION IN PERSONS 30 YEARS AND OLDER IN HAI CHAU DISTRICT, DA NANG CITY

Abstract
Objective: To determine the preventive factors of pre-hypertension and hypertension among those aged 30 or over. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 495 people aged 30 or over in Hai Chau district, Da Nang. Results: The preventive factors of pre-hypertension and hypertension include: overweight, obesity, history of dyslipidemia, frequent alcohol consumption. Conclusion: Hypertension preventive factors have been investigated to develop hypotheses to support such factors.
