ĐÁNH GIÁ KẾT QUẢ SỚM SAU PHẪU THUẬT MỞ ĐIỀU TRỊ UNG THƯ TUYẾN GIÁP TẠI BỆNH VIỆN ĐA KHOA TỈNH THÁI BÌNH TỪ 2018 - 2021

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate early results after open surgery for thyroid cancer treatment at Thai Binh General Hospital from 2018-2021. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 64 thyroid cancer patients undergone open surgery at Thai Binh General Hospital from 2018 to 2021. Results: The mean age of the patients was: 51.05 ± 11.94 years old; The proportion of male:female was 6.25%:93.75%; Tumor characteristics: 60.9% patients had 1 tumor, 39.1% had 2 or more tumors; Characteristics of lymph node metastasis: 42,2% patients had lymph node metastasis, in which the most common group was the carotid group, the middle carotid lymph node was 51.9%. Ultrasound: TIRADS 4 was 45.2%, TIRADS 5 was 32.3%; Surgical methods: Thyroid lobectomy + Waist resection was 18.8%, Proximal thyroidectomy accounted was 3.1%, Total thyroidectomy was 78.1%; The number of lymph node dissections was 8.5%; Complications in the first day after surgery were nausea and vomiting were 7.8%, temporary hoarseness was 20.3%, Tetany attack was 1.6%; Complications in 72 hours after surgery were hoarseness was 15.6% and Tetany attacks was 17.2%; Results after surgery: 65.6% patients achieved good results; 34.4% achieved average results; 0% patients achieved bad results. Conclusion: The results of open surgery treated for 64 thyroid cancer patients at Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital from 2018 to 2021 showed that 65.6% of patients achieved good results; 34.4% achieved the average result
