QUALITY OF LIFE OF DENTAL PROSTHETIC WEARERS IN NAM DINH PROVINCE - VIETNAM, 2019-2021: A STUDY USING THE WHOQOL-BREF TOOL

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the quality of life in people wearing dental prostheses based on the WHOQoL-Bref toolkit. Subjects and research methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 132 people wearing dental restorations in Nam Dinh province in 2019-2021. Convenient sampling in 03 regions of Nam Dinh province. Information was collected by questionnaires, through direct questioning. Results: This study showed that the mean quality of life in prosthodontic wearers was 42.58 and the Cronback's Alpha coefficient was 0.89. Conclusion: The WHOQol-Bref toolkit is suitable for the study to assess the quality of life of people wearing dental prostheses in Nam Dinh province.
