Abstract

Objective: Determine the disease pattern according to ICPC-2 of officials, employees of Ha Nam Power Company. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional description using available secondary data from 588 officials and employees working at the Ha Nam Power Company during the health check in the end of 2021. Result: Age average was: 40.8 ±10.2; male 75.5%, female 24.5%. 52.7% of workers were overweight with 91% are men. History: 75.5% used alcohol, 44.2% smoked. The disease rate accounted for 96.5% with 57.7% suffered from 2-3 diseases. Non-communicable diseases accounted for 93.6%, infectious diseases accounted for 6.7%. The disease with the highest incidence was dental disease: 77.7%, overweight 53.4%; the lowest was hepatitis B 5.8%. According to ICPC-2 classification, gastrointestinal disease group had the highest incidence (82.8, followed by eye 52.9%, endocrine-nutrition 26.2%. No cases of ear disease, gynecology, social problems were detected. Conclusion: The study showed that the disease model of employees of Ha Nam Power Company according to ICPC-2 classification had 3 most common groups of diseases: digestive 82.8%, eye 52.9%, endocrine-nutrition 26.2%. The diseases accounting for the largest proportion in the above group of diseases were dental diseases 77.7%, refractive errors 52.0%, hyperglycemia 63.3%.
