Abstract

The aim of this study was to establish reference intervals for some biochemical parameters in healthy women during the third trimester of pregnancy. A prospective cross-sectional descriptive study method included 142 healthy pregnant women aged 18-35 years with a gestational age of 28-38 weeks, single fetus, negative proteinuria, diastolic blood pressure <90 mmHg, previous pregnancies and deliveries with no history of complications.  Ten biochemical parameters were analyzed on a Roche Cobas C311 instrument. Reference intervals of ten biochemical indicators of pregnant women in the third trimester were established and can serve as a reference for clinicians caring for pregnant women.
