Abstract

Objectives: Find out factors related to Demodex blepharitis. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional description conducted on 33 patients who were examined, diagnosed and treated for Demodex blepharitis at Nghe An Eye Hospital from January 2021 to April 2021. Results: The proportion of eyes with symptoms of blepharitis caused by Demodex testing positive accounted for 72.73%, the group of 30-45 years old accounted for 57.58%. female accounted for 66.67%; male accounted for 33.33%, rural area accounted for 54.55%; cities accounted for 36.36%, farmers group 42.42%; workers 30.30%. the influence of environmental factors: smoke and dust account for 45.45%; chemicals accounted for 24.24% and polluted water sources accounted for 12.12%, with the use of favorable factors, most women accounted for 40.91%.
