Abstract

Objectives: To determine the relations between diastolic measurements on cardiac Doppler sonography and some clinical and sub-clinical indicators in periodic hemodyalisis patients. Subjects   and   research   methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 75 periodic hemodialysis patients received cardiac sonography. Results: (1) Proportion of diastolic dysfuntion is 25,33%. (2) 47,54% of less than or equal to 50 years old patients have E/A ≤ 0,8 or >2. (3) There is negative significant weak correlation between triglycerid level and E/A (r = -0,297, p < 0,05), E/e’ (r = -0,299, p < 0,05). (4) There is no significant correlation between diastolic measurement indices and hemodialysis period, anemia condition, hypertension, and left ventricle hypertrophy. Conclusion: E/A ratio has correlation with age. Triglycerid level has negative weak correlation with E/e’ and E/A ratio.
