Abstract

Hypertension and Diabetes are one of the most common chronic, non- communicable disease that has been rising rapidly, but also its effect on quality of life (QOL) of these patients. A cross-sectional study was conducted. The study described quality of life of outpatient at Can Tho Cardiovascular Hospital in 2021. SF-36 questionnaire was used. There were 310 outpatients participate in the study. The results indicated that the mean scores of health domains are ranking at medium and low levels. In multivariate analysis, factors associatedwith HRQOL among co-morbidity hypertension and type 2 diabetes were age, sex, occupation, education level. The average score of physical functioning and mental health is low in the older age group and farming occupation. The mean score of physical functioning is lower in women than in men.
