PARACLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DENGUE FEVER IN HANOI HOSPITAL OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE FROM 2016 TO 2017

Abstract
Objective: Describe paraclinical characteristics of patients with Dengue fever in Internal Medicine Department – Hanoi Hospital of Traditional Medicine. Subjects: 1557 medical records of patients diagnosed with Dengue fever. Methods: a descriptive cross – sectional and retrospective study. Results: The Dengue fever test was positive during the first six days of the disease. The number of platelets declined to the lowest level on the sixth day (2016) and on the seventh day (2017) (the mean values were 84,5 ± 51,6 G/L và 66,6 ± 35,7 G/L, respectively) and returned to the normal range on the ninth day. The hematocrit started to increase from the third day and reached the highest level on the sixth day. The values of AST and ALT that increased two times accounted for 31% and 21,1%, correspondingly.
