Abstract

Objective: The study aims to describe the current situation of health care service provision at two general clinics under Thu Duc District Hospital in the period from 2017 to 2019. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study, collect secondary data. Using a blank table, checklist from the pre-designed toolkit to collect the necessary data from the operational summary report of the general clinics. Results: The total number of medical staff working in both clinics has increased year by year. The total number of medical examination and treatment of the two clinics in 2017 was 145,494, by 2018 it was 227,555 times and in 2019 it was 267.77 times, of which the number of health insurance visits in the 2 clinics accounted for more than 90% of the total number of medical examination. (internal specialist examination accounts for over 50%). The average number of visits per day of the 02 clinics in the past 3 years 2017, 2018 and 2019 was 200, 306 visits, 367 respectively. Number of emergency cases each year from 146 cases in 2017 to 391 cases in 2019. All subclinical increased, but only radiological service in 02 clinics increased in 2018 and decreased in 2019. Technical list of the primary health care unit Linh Xuan (1,194 techniques, implementation rate is 72%) and Linh Tay GPA (561 techniques, rate of implementation is 63.2%).
