QUALITY OF NURSING WORK LIFE AT CHO RAY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Background: In a hospital environment, nurses play a key role in patient care and management. However, the quality of nursing work life is still low and has not been paid enough attention. Purposes: Survey on quality of clinical nursing work life at Cho Ray hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 306 nurses working in clinical departments of Cho Ray Hospital, 2022. Using Brooks questionnaire to survey nursing staff's quality of life. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean score of quality of nursing work life at Cho Ray Hospital is 161,42±12,06, reaching the average level, the score in family and work life is 27,62 ± 2,90; specific field of work is 36,8 ± 4,23; working environment and career development opportunities are 78,21 ± 7,09; the social concept of profession is 18,8 ± 1,92. Conclusion: The quality of nursing work life at Cho Ray hospital is average. Effective solutions to improve the quality of work life of nurses are necessary to improve the quality of patient care and improve the quality of life of nurses.
