RESEARCHING CHARACTERISTICS OF PRIMOVIST MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING IN DIAGNOSING HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objectives: To research the characteristics of primovist magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma. Subjects and research methods: The study was carried out on 35 patients regardless of gender, of all ages who admitted to K Tan Trieu hospital, during the period from May 2021 to October 2022, decided to have an primovist MRI and undergo a biopsy or surgery with pathologic findings. Results: The rate of liver cancer in the study was 86%; Average age of HCC’s patients is 56.8 years old; male/female ratio: 10,67; Almost patients with squamous cell carcinoma are type 1 drug-advanced 77%; The mean value of ADC in patients with liver tumors was 1.2. Most patients have an moderate differentiation of 60%; Patients with high-differentiation on histopathology mostly enhance type 3; moderately-differentiation for most type 1 enhancement, poorly-differentiation for all type 1 enhancement. The ADC value in the group of patients with well-differentiation was higher than in the group of patients with moderately-differentiation and poorly-differentiation. Conclusion: Primovist magnetic resonance imaging has high value in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma with typical changes shown on ADC.
