Abstract
Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has put mental health on the list of global health priorities. In Vietnam, the fourth pandemic wave has left severe impacts on people's life as well as their mental health. However, studies describing the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on stress, anxiety and depression after being affected for a long time are still limited. Objectives: To identify the proportion of mental health issues (stress, anxiety, depression) created by the Covid-19 epidemic in Phu Thuan B Commune, Hong Ngu District, Dong Thap Province. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 239 people aged 18 and above. The assessment of stress, anxiety and depression was performed using the DASS-21 scale. Results: The proportion of mental health issues according to the DASS-21 rating scale was stress (10.9%), anxiety (18%), depression (13%). Conclusions: The result reflects the state of mental health condition of people living in Phu Thuan B Commune, Hong Ngu District, Dong Thap Province after a long period of being influenced by Covid-19.
