RESULTS OF PSYCHOTROPIC TREATMENT FOR PSYCHOTIC ALDOLESCENTS

Abstract

Background: Psychotic disorders is one of the common mental diagnoses in clinical practice, not rare in aldolescents. Aldolescents with delusion are not studied much yet. Objectives: comments on psychotropic treatment for psychotic aldolescents  at national institute of mental health. Subjects: 38 recruited in-patients diagnosed psychotic disorder according to ICD-10 criteria (F23) at National Institute of Mental Health during the period from 05/2021 to 07/2022. Method: perspective  cross sectional study. Result: The most commonly used antipsychotic were haloperidol and risperidone (84,2%). The 1-2-week-treatment time is at the most highest rate (34,2%), the average of treatment time was 20,6 ± 12,60 days, most of cases have no delusion and hallucination after 2 weeks. Conclusion: Priority for psychotic treatment is antipsychotic.
