SURVEYING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WITH END-STAGE CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE AT NGHE AN FRIENDSHIP HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objectives: surveying the quality of life of patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease at nghe an friendship hospital. Subjects and methods: Including patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease treated at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital from October 2020 to May 2021. Study Design: A case series descriptive study. Results: The average age is 55.6 ± 17.8 years old. The highest age group ≥ 60 accounted for 48% of the total 150 patients participating in the study. 54% male, 46% female. The area of kidney disease with the highest mean score was in the field of Social Support (71.00±24.15) and the area with the lowest score was the Burden of Kidney Disease (36.96±17). 32). The mean SF-36 health score was 36.48 ± 11.17, in which the mean score of physical health 34.73±13.69 was lower than the mean score of mental health 38.24±15.02. The level of quality of life of the study participants was on average poor (SF-36: 26-50), with n=99 accounting for 66%, the proportion of patients with a fairly good quality of life was very low. only 0.67%.
