Abstract

Aims: Evaluation of some factors affecting treatment response in patients with platinum-resistant recurrent ovarian cancer treated with paclitaxel. Research subject: 65 patients treated with paclitaxel regimen for platinum-resistant recurrent ovarian cancer from July 2018 to June 2021 at National Cancer Hospital. Patients and Methods: Retrospective combined prospective study. Results: The treatment response was better in the group of patients whose CA125 index decreased after treatment and used >85% of the dose at >50% of the treatment cycles. Conclusion: Treatment response is related to the CA125 index after treatment and the dose of chemotherapy drugs.
