Main Article Content
Abstract
Asthma is a disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the bronchial mucosa. The asthma management cycle for personalized asthma care consists of review, assessment and adjustment. An observational study was conducted on asthma outpatients with the aim of providing practical data of medication use. Out of 106 visits, 100% of patients were prescribed LABA-ICS. Salmeterol, formoterol, fluticasone and budesonide were prescribed most, accounted for 63,20%; 38,68%; 63,20% and 38,68% respectively. Respiratory functions did not change statistically during one year of treatment. The study will contribute to improving the effectiveness of asthma treatment and control.
