Abstract

Bladder cancer ranks 11th in incidence and 13th in mortality in both sexes, of which 75-85% is non-muscle invasice bladder cancer (NIMBC). En-bloc resection of bladder tumor (ERBT) in the treatment of bladder cancer without muscle invasion has many advantages such as satisfactory pathology, low tumor survival rate, the recurrence rate is lower than standard endoscopic resertion (Transurethral resection of bladder tumor). Gemcitabine intravessical pump after surgery is a safe therapy to reduce the risk of recurrence. In this article, we report the case of an 84 year old male patient, admitted to the hospital with symtoms of hematuria and dysuria. The patient then underwent endoscopy to enblock the bladder tumor combined with intravesical gemcitabine, followed up at the 9 month with no sign of recurrence.
