Abstract

The section comparing clinical, subclinical, and ultrasound characteristics with cytological results in patients with thyroid nodules at Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital is the basis for detecting clinical and laboratory characteristics. Clinical examination of patients with thyroid nodules going to the general hospital of Thai Binh province helps patients with thyroid nodules to be examined and detected early and promptly. Conducting clinical and subclinical examination of 318 patients with an average age of 51.13 ± 14,928 showed that: Female patients accounted for the majority with 89% and 81% of patients were aged 31-60 years old. The majority of patients in both benign and malignant groups are euthyroid. There was no difference between the benign and malignant groups in terms of anti-TPO, anti-TG, nuclear size groups, cervical lymph nodes, hypoechoic border. TG test was different in 2 groups with statistical significance with p<0.05. The rate of malignancy of solid nodule is higher than that of mixed nodular and cystic, the rate of microcalcification, the rate of unknown boundary in the group of malignant TNBC is higher than that of benign group with statistical significance. p < 0.05. The higher the TIRADS classification, the higher the rate of malignancy, the difference is statistically significant. Conclusion: In the group of malignancies, mainly hypoechoic solid nodules. There was a statistically significant difference in the proportion of thyroid nodules with microcalcifications, unknown boundaries, and TG tests in 2 groups of patients with benign and malignant UTI. The higher the TIRADS classification, the higher the rate of malignancy.
