RESULTS OF SURGERY IN TREATMENT OF BILE DUCT STONE COMBINED LASER LITHOTRIPSY

Abstract

Objectives: Review of some results of surgery to treat gallstones combined with laser lithotripsy in the treatment of bile duct stone. Subjects and methods: Prospective study, clinical intervention on 85 patients undergoing surgery for cholangiolithiasis combined with laser lithotripsy in the treatment of gallstones from May 2017 to May 2022 at Thanh Nhan Hospital. Results: Through the study on 85 patients, we recorded the following results: The average age was 61.66 ± 14.92 (25-89) Female accounted for the majority 52.9%. The average surgery time was 137.1±15.6 minutes. The average hospital stay was 11.42 ± 4.75 days. Complications encountered 11 patients (12.9%), bile leakage accounted for the majority of 6 patients (7.1%). Evaluation of treatment results: Good 64 patients (75.3%). Conclusion: Surgery combined with laser biliary lithotripsy is an effective method, with a fast lithotripsy and surgery time.
