Abstract

Ojective: To evaluate the efffectiveness of continuous veno – venous haemofiltration (CVVH) on the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis in Phu Tho Genaral Hospital. Subject and method: Prospective controlled intervention study on 45 severe acute pancreatitis patients were devided in two groups: 23 patients with CVVH therapy and 22 without one, were treated in Phu Tho Genaral Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022. Results: In severe acute pancretitis patients with CVVH, parameters of pulse, mean blood pressure, abdominal pressure, SOFA score, APACHE II score reduced more quickly than the ones in the control group. The rate of mortality was lower in group with CVVH therapy in compare with control group (4,3% and 27,3% with p < 0,05, respectively). Conclusion: Continuous veno-venous haemofiltration on the treatment of severe acute pancretitis help decrease mortality and feasible.
