THE RESULTS OF TREATMENT WITH ELECTROMAGNETISM COMBINED WITH LUMBAR STRETCHING IN PATIENTS WITH SCIATICA DUE TO DISC HERNIATION

Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the results of treatment with electromagnetism combined with lumbar spinal stretching in patients with sciatica due to disc herniation. Subjects and research methods: Prospective method, open clinical trial, comparing pre- and post-treatment results on 30 patients with sciatica due to disc herniation. Results: After 21 days of treatment, the number of patients with good results was 80%, fairly good was 13.3%, average 6.7%, no patients were classified as poor. Conclusion: Electro-acupuncture combined with lumbar spine stretching is an effective method in treating sciatica caused by disc herniation.
