Abstract

Background: Anterior pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele) in women is a condition in which the bladder slips from its original anatomic position due to weakness, defect or damage of the pelvic floor supporting component. Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of abdominal sacrocolpopexy using prolene mesh in women with anterior pelvic prolapse at Viet Duc Hospital in the period of 2019-2021. Methodology: The study was conducted on 57 patients. Results: The patients were followed up for 1, 3, 6 and 12 months post-operation. After surgery, all patients were anatomically cured (68,4% had cystocele stage 0 and 31.6% had stage 1 of the POP-Q qualification). 100% of the patients had no urological functional disorder post-operative
