LOCALIZED MESENTERIC CASTLEMAN’S DISEASE: REPORT OF A CASE
Main Article Content
Abstract
Castleman's disease (Castleman' Desease - CD) is a proliferative disorder of the lymph node , which can occur in many different organs, but rarely in the mesentery, can have multifocal or unifocal lesions. The cause is not clear, it is difficult to diagnose before surgery and it is easy to misdiagnose with other diseases. Surgical resection is very good in cases of localized lesions. For the remaining cases, it can be combined with radiation therapy or chemotherapy according to the CHOP protocol.
