Abstract

Objectives: To describe the prevalence of adverse effects of the Covid-19 Astrazeneca vaccine among adults at Ha Noi Medical University in 2021. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 773 people from October 2021 to October 2022. Results: the rate of local effects after in 1st dose was 24.58 %, 2nd dose was  23.42%. Common effects were tiredness (1st dose: 52.26%, 2nd dose: 16.56 %), increasing pain impress (1st dose:39.97%, 2nd dose: 15.39 %), fever < 38.5°C (1st dose: 31.31%, 2nd dose: 9.31%). The dangerous effects of Covid-19 Astrazeneca vaccine were very low. The adverse effects usually occurred from 1 to 24 hours after vaccination. Conclusion: The rate of the adverse effects of Covid-19 Astrazeneca vaccine among adults at Ha Noi Medical University in 2021 was relatively high, but mainly common effects such as fever, tiredness and increasing pain impress.
