Abstract

Objective: The objective of the study was to assess the level of antibiotic resistance of bacteria in patients with septic shock. Subjects and methods: Retrospective study of 100 septic shock patients with positive blood culture results from January 2020 to December 2020. Conclusion: The antibiotics sensitivity rate of amikacin (82.3%), fosfomycin (95.4%), meropenem (77.3%), ertapenem (76.8%), imipenem (76.2 E. coli resistant to cefuroxime (69.2%), ampicillin (68%), ceftriaxone (60.7%) ciprofloxacin (50%), with levofloxacin (46.7%). K. pneumoniae has a resistance rate to ampicillin with a rate of 63.64%, cefuroxime 63.64% , ceftriaxone 54.55%, amocillin-clavulanicaci 50%, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus 69.2%, anti-MRSA 61.5% A baumannii has the rate of resistance to ertapenem, imipenem, and meropenem, respectively, 55.6%, 77.8%, 77.8%. faecalis resistant to ampicillin/sulbactam 75%, ceftazidin 62.5%.
