Abstract
Purposes: Study on 78 uterine fibroid patients treated at hospital E during the period from January 2019 to April 2020. Results: mean age 45.3 ± 5.2, age group from 35-50 was 79.5%, lower abdominal pain 46.1%, abnormal vaginal bleeding 38.5%, clinical examination: the uterus was as large as 9-12 weeks pregnant have the rate of 55.1%, uterine fibroids with hypoechoic characteristics accounted for 61.5%, 91.0% borderline, no fibrosis 89.7%, no angiogenesis 92.3%, fibroids in the uterine body accounted for the highest rate 92.2%, in muscle 90.7%, most had 1 tumor 61 .5%, average size is 75.2 ± 28.3mm, mass with size from 50-100mm accounts for the highest rate 66.7%, size of uterine fibroids according to ultrasound and size of uterus Clinical examination had a linear correlation with R = 0.693 (p < 0.001), ultrasound diagnosis of uterine fibroids has an accuracy of 93.1%. Conclusion: Ultrasonography has high accuracy in diagnosing uterine fibroids, helping to assess the number, location, size of uterine fibroids and preoperative pelvic overview, uterine size through clinical examination with size.
