Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the value of bedside ACT test in adjusting the dose of Heparin in patients undergoing ECMO technique at Bach Mai hospital. Subjects and methods: 67 ECMO patients from September 2019 to September 2020 at the Intensive Care Unit of Bach Mai Hospital were adjusted Heparin dose by bedside ACT test. Research results: ACT test correlates poorly with dose of Heparin and aPTT with r 0.14 and 0.17 p < 0.05, respectively, ACT has a mean correlation with CT INTEM with r 0.44 and p < 0.05. Conclusion: ECMO patients with heparin dose adjusted by the ACT test had a high target rate. The ACT test is moderately correlated with the CT INTEM.
